Alpharetta, GA, November 6, 2007 – Provaré Technology today announced that it has been retained by S&C Electric Company to test cutting edge new secure remote access technology for management and control of many of its remote devices. Although the details of the new S&C product are withheld for competitive reasons, there is no question that the product will allow S&C’s customers to dramatically reduce the cost of maintenance and control of much of its equipment by reducing the frequency and cost of “truck rolls” and making them simpler and safer when they are necessary.

Electric power generation and distribution in the US is held to extremely high standards of reliability and avaialability, but we are very familiar with such requirements via our work in telecommunications and life sciences. So even though this is a new industry for us, the we are very familiar and comfortable with the technologies employed and with the stringent requirements. I’m sure we’ll be able to make this new product meet or exceed expectations.”
The new contract has no expiration date and allows S&C Electric Company to take advantage of any combination of Provaré services.
